A fabulous looking hotel inside, extremely modern... a treat on the eye indeed! The suite I was in was huge with one of the comfiest beds I've ever slept in. 5 minutes walk from Temple Bar, Trinity College and Grafton St. Absolutely perfect. Recommended.
Top Tip
Leave the tourists behind and Go somewhere Dubliners go for dinner. Walk round Trinity College to Kildare St and head up towards St Stephens Green, almost at the top of Kildare on the right is Town restaurant, fabulous food and not a hen or stag in sight!

We loved the quirky ambiance of this hotel. The décor is very eclectic - a mix of old and contemporary, rich colour themes & attention to detail. The overall impression is a slightly Moroccan feel.
There was a thermostat in the room to adjust the temperature, but the heating must be centrally controlled as we sometimes found that the radiator was off. This meant that the room was a little cool at times but not uncomfortable (and there was no heating in the bathroom).
The breakfast was buffet style, and plentiful.
We would definitely stay at this hotel again.
Top Tip
Come out the hotel entrance and turn left to find a great pub with excellent food.
There is a Fireman's pub on the corner of Townsend street which is also worth a visit.

I was very impressed with this hotel. It is great value for money. Staff were helpful and the room was cleaned to a very high standard everyday. The location is great. We could hear some noise from the fire station but nothing that annoyed or disturbed us, however it might be louder in the Summer months when windows are left open. For such a great location noise is to be expected but it really isn't something to be put off by. Breakfast was lovely and the interior of the hotel is really impressive. I would definately recommend this to anyone wanting to stay in this area and would certainly stay again myself.

The Boxty House in Temple Bar is excellent for good value traditional irish food. Fitzer's was abit more pricey but the food was amazing. The Guiness factory is a must as well as Killmainem Goal.

Very impressed with the rooms. Clean and welcoming. The only fault I had was with reception staff. Not very friendly and very slow!!!
Reception staff should advise guests on the morning they are leaving that they need a key for car park. I was left waiting outside car park with a lot of luggage on a dodgy street early Sunday morning for 15 mins. Wasn't impressed.
Top Tip
Temple bar around the corner for traditional music but would advise walk down Grafton Street for atmosphere, with good bars on Dawson Street.

Location was excellent, near enough to all the sights and the tourist bus yet far enough away to avoid the noise! Would definatley stay here again.
Top Tip
Booking is recommended for eating out in the Temple bar area as it gets packed at night.
